Terms of Service

Arc is a parenting journal app published by Signal Twelve LLC ("Arc," "we"). By creating an Arc account, you agree to these terms. The short version: your records belong to you. We provide the software and infrastructure to keep them. We don't sell your data. We aren't a substitute for legal, medical, or therapeutic advice.

• You're responsible for keeping your password and account secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
• You may delete your account at any time from the app. Deletion is irreversible.

Capture moments, notes, and documented accounts about your own family. Export your data whenever you want. Cancel any time.

• Use Arc to record people without lawful basis to do so.
• Use Arc to harass, threaten, or impersonate other people, including co-parents.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code from the app or backend.
• Resell access to Arc, or use it to provide services to third parties without our written agreement.

Arc gives you tools to keep careful records. It does not give legal advice. The Pattern Evidence reports and Case File exports are provided to help you and your attorney; they don't replace an attorney's judgment, and Arc and Signal Twelve LLC make no representations about admissibility, sufficiency, or the legal consequences of any record you keep.

Arc Premium is billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't pro-rate refunds for partial months. Refunds for extenuating circumstances are evaluated case by case — email sonia@arcstory.io.

We aim for Arc to be available continuously, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, third-party outages (Supabase, Anthropic, Stripe), and other events outside our control may cause downtime. We're not liable for those interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signal Twelve LLC's total liability arising from your use of Arc is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app and via email. Continuing to use Arc after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
